It is no question that being an adolescent in today’s society is hard. While some consider this the glory years, others find it a time of challenge and frustration. Growing up amongst the generation of social media, bullying, friend drama, competing for a spot on the school sports team, and the relentless academic pressure; the struggle is all too real. It’s no wonder why teenagers can be left feeling anxious and stressed out.

These pressures that attach onto our kids can create an array of hurdles that look different from one teen to the next. Ensuring they have a good understanding of how optimal nourishment can support the many struggles encountered, may play a key role in how they look back at, and experience these years.
